Automatic | ABUS dictated the early pace, causing an attritional race with several riders dropping off. While Kim Stoveld (Automatic | ABUS) made multiple breakaway attempts, Twenty28, keen to set up their sprinter Marlies Mejias, kept the field largely together. With 11 laps remaining, Stoveld again attacked, which prompted a perfectly timed counter-move by her teammate Grace Arlandson. Only Twenty28’s Arreola could respond, latching on and claiming all four remaining primes, including two $500 bonuses. Despite Arreola’s prime sweep, Arlandson committed to the break, aiming for a two-up sprint win. The peloton, led by Tekkerz and Fearless Femme, tried to chase, but the Automatic and Twenty28 riders at the front stifled cohesion. With two laps to go, the field conceded. Arreola ultimately out-sprinted Arlandson for the win, with Odetta Lynch (Fearless Femme) securing third in the field sprint.

A brief early rain gave way to aggressive attacks, shrinking the field. A promising break was reabsorbed, but a counter-move led by Ben Oliver (MITOQ-NZ) and James Garder (MITOQ-NZ), later joined by Juan Arango (Bikers Cycling Team), gained significant traction. This trio committed to the break, building their lead despite a chase attempt. In the end, Oliver took the win, with Arango second and Garder third.
