Before the race

Visit Easton Farmers’ Market: If you are coming in to town Saturday, May 24th, make sure you checkout America’s oldest, continuous, open-air market features fresh, local produce, delicious baked goods, flowers and artisan crafts. Cyclists can use the free bike valet as they shop the market for a delicious breakfast or lunch before the race. (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, Scott Park along Larry Holmes Drive, eastonfarmersmarket.com)

Explore Easton: Feast on delicious treats throughout the city, shop Easton’s boutiques and antique shops, go on a walk on the Karl Stirner Arts Trail, hike the D&L Trail and explore the history of our riverside city. Plan your day.

Sign up for the Community Ride: Test out the race course before the pros start. Families and individuals are encouraged to register for the free Community Ride. (riders leave from the Start/Finish line on Northampton Street)

Kids Zone

The Valley Preferred Cycling Center is hosting the Kids Zone next to the People’s Picnic on Larry Holmes Drive. This is open 1-4pm

Push Ahead at Centre Square

 

Mesa Activation: Push Ahead and Homebase Skateshop are hosting free “Learn to Skateboard” workshops for kids. Located in the Centre Square quadrant in front of where Bayou was located. Classes will be every hour from 2 to 5 p.m. Stop by and sign up—spots are filling up fast. 

Longest Ollie Competition: Homebase Skateshop is putting up at least $100 in cash to see who can do the longest ollie. Stop by the start/ finish on Northampton at 2:50 pm & see how far a skateboard can fly right before the 1-Mile Dash for Cash begins.
